I believe the best work is driven out of unearthed truths. It’s not enough for creative to be aesthetically intoxicating or full of expressive prose. It must go beyond emerging out of general insights and dive deeper into universal realities.
So a commercial for a travel company may look like a person opting out of toxic family dynamics and instead taking a solo trip abroad. A social media post from a streaming service may look like a roundup of career-related movies to provide a burst of inspiration after a job loss. An OOH ad for a roadside assistance company might say “Like a parent calling in the middle of a workday, we’ll be there”.
